MYST has a dedicated music rehearsal space at Katoomba Youth Centre which can be booked for free for young people in the Blue Mountains who are wanting a sound proof space to make music with others.

Based on research conducted by the Stronger Families Alliance that young people in the mountains most want youth friendly spaces that they can gather in and be together, MYST , along with community support from Rotary, Council, Future State Studios, Katoomba Music and other individuals, has offered this space to young people for free.

Instruments available
MYST has a Drum Kit and a bass guitar that can be used in the space. All other instruments must be brought to the centre for your booked time.
Katoomba Music have offered to repair any broken instruments at a reduced price so speak to MYST staff if you need an instrument repaired. MYST is in the process of raising funds to create a digital recording studio in the adjoining space. Stay tuned for developments!
