Rohan joined the MYST team as a facilitator of the Outdoor Explore program at the beginning of Term 1, 2024. Rohan brings along with him 15 years of Outdoor Education facilitation experience, the past 3 years in the therapeutic outdoor space. Rohan is also a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner, who works extensively with children and young people, in their schools, homes, the bush and community of the Blue Mountains and beyond.
Rohan believes in the powerful connection and sense of belonging that the bush provides. This connection to place offers us with a space to regulate, explore and in turn, create countless opportunities to create new, positive stories for ourselves. He feels a great sense of privilege to be in a space to share these nature-based opportunities with children and young people.
Away from work, Rohan enjoys cooking delicious plant-based feasts, nurturing his indoor and outdoor gardens, outside adventure time, playing football for his local team and most importantly, spending quality and curiosity time with his son.
