Cara Lynne Ferguson

I commenced with MYST in 2024 in several roles supporting young vulnerable people. I have completed a Diploma in Community Services Work, and several short courses and workshops to improve and enhance my skillset working within the Community Services industry where I have thoroughly enjoyed Case Management and creating new and exciting programs for young people.

At the age of 18 I was supported by a Youth Worker through a challenging part of my life and my path became clear to me. I wanted to provide support to others the way I was supported. Working with young people, adults and families I have gained an incredible amount of experience and education which has only enabled me to strengthen my skills and ability to support others.

While supporting others is my passion I am also focused on my own well-being. An afternoon sunset on my balcony with Peanut, my lab/retriever. I love holidaying in tiny homes through Airbnb that are off the grid and self-sustaining and if I’m not doing either of these you will usually find me at the latest events from cabaret shows to art exhibitions and street food/local music festivals.
