What a Day! Yesterday we celebrated Youth Week i What a Day! Yesterday we celebrated Youth Week in the best way possible — with an epic day out at Lawson Skate Park! The park was buzzing with energy as young people showed off their skills in the skate and scooter comps — the talent was absolutely next level! We kept the vibes high with live music from the amazing Taylah Harrington, the dynamic duo Luke and Astrid from Madam Fatale, and wrapped it all up with the high-octane sounds of Jim’s Punk Rock. Of course, no celebration is complete without good food — huge thanks to Ron and The Team from Rapid Relief Team for serving up a delicious BBQ lunch! A massive shoutout to the awesome local services who came through with fun activities and great vibes to support the event and engage with our young people: Blue Mountains City Council Barnardos Headspace Belong YES Youth Employment NSW Police RRF TAFE NSW Aboriginal Employment Strategy And of course, BIG love to the amazing MYST team for making it all happen on the day.
