Andrew joined MYST this year as the organisation’s Financial Counsellor and Financial Capability Worker.
Andrew has a background in Financial Planning and Mortgage Broking and has recently transitioned to Financial Counselling in order to help people who are struggling with their finances. He is particularly interested in working with young people to develop their financial literacy, in order to improve and maintain their overall wellbeing both now and into their young adult life.
Andrew’s primary role this year will be delivering Financial Literacy courses in local schools. He is also available to meet with young people at MYST should they find themselves in financial difficulty or just want to talk about improving their finances.
Outside of work, Andrew can be found in the local community garden, singing with the local choir or on the running track trying to improve his fitness.
